Kim Taehyung(V) is ROYALTY. He is a prince patiently waiting to be the Heir to the throne. V can control Seoul in the palm of his hands, and can get anything he wanted in the world through money.

Unlike V, Lee Hyorin is NORMAL. She studies hard in school, and gets good grades in order to get a decent job to support her family. Money is precious to her, so she overworks herself in order to get it.

After V's father dies of an illness, it is V's duty to ascend the throne. However, according to multiple laws, V is not allowed to rule unless there is someone by his side to rule with him. So, V is set to find a fiancée that is meant to rule with him.

After V and Hyorin meet on a whim, V is determined to make Hyorin his wife. But, in Hyorin's eyes, V is an arrogant Prince that has never experienced hard work. So now V has to make an effort to gain Hyorin's love and ascend the throne. But because of Hyorin, V realizes that not everything can be gained through money.
