The government has created a tribe or gang to stop it, but so far, it hasn't worked. They tried to take care of it with peace offerings, but when that didn't work they tried a more forceful approach. With the fear of war approaching again, Anna-Jade decides that she finally becomes involved with the rebellion.

Years ago there was a blackout. One day all the lights went out. The cars stopped running. Electricity no longer existed. Nothing that ran on electricity works anymore. People panicked and tried to survive for as long as they could. Some made it out of cities the others stayed. Our government fell and militias took control. The Monroe militia took over. Then one day he found electricity again. He used it for bad and soon conquered the whole world. Years later our world now runs on electricity again. The Monroe militia is still in power and they force teens to go into an academy to train as merciless killers. This is where I go.
