6 am I am walking faster now... Ever since my parents left me on a deserted road when I was 13 I felt lonely. It's been 3 years since I last seen my parents, they never came back. A guy in all black wearing a hood over his head is stalking me...... He's been following me for a week now.... When my parents left me they said it was for a good reason, they said that if they kept me the whole family would be in danger. So that's why I'm here next to the McDonald's trying to get away from this stranger. I walk in to the restaurant casually, though I have no money to spend. Let me introduce myself my fake name is Vera Jones. I am 16 years old. I can't tell you my real name because then they will find me. Don't ask me who "they" are because believe me I don't know, that's just how my parents explained it. I don't know why I did such a thing, changing my name in all, but something told me to. I can't really tell you who my parents are, all I can really tell you about me is this: I am not who I thought I was....

Just because you pretend to be someone else... doesn't make your past disappear. An old friend of mine used to tell me that. For... eight years, I've been pretending to be a simple girl living with her "brother", a local blacksmith. I've been putting up this... façade that I'm nothing special, that I'm... like any other person. Truth is, I'm not. I'm living a lie. I'm not a simple girl living with her brother. He's not even my real brother. He's... just a close friend, and I'm not just any other girl... I'm a pirate, or... I was a pirate. I'm not anymore. I had to give it up to protect myself. My "brother" went along with it because I saved his life, and he owed me for that. At first, we hated each other. Now, we're close. We've seen sides of each other that... no one else has. However, when I get into a bit of a pickle... a pirate saves me. THE Captain Jack Sparrow... saves me... and as a rewards he wants... "Just one kiss?"
