Today is the day she finally goes to her first foster home. 16 year old Riley Andersons family is gone, hope lost, and now she has to be in foster care. What will this new lifestyle bring for her? Good or Bad memories?

During college Jordyn thought life was full of possibility and adventure. But soon after falling in love, graduation and then finally starting a family, she came to the conclusion that it's simply mundane. The same tasks performed daily, with your own personal needs shoved to the side. With everyday being the same, how could she have seen what was coming, what they couldn't know.

Riley disappears the day after her high school graduation, five years ago. She didn't keep in contact with anyone, but her family. What happens when she comes back to New York for a week? What happens when she comes face to face with the friends she left behind? When she left, she never made plans to look back at the life she left. She left it behind for a reason, but sometimes the past has a hard time staying there. *There are some topics in here that may be sensitive to some, but I do have trigger warnings for those chapters. *
