I want to tell you a story. The story of Lucas Croft.
Tall. Slim build. Blue eyed. Brown hair. White American. 17 years of age. GUILTY.
People are like sheep. They follow. If a rumour occurs it's true. No questions to be asked. No way to prove innocence. This is how it was for Lucas. He didn't kill her. He didn't lay one finger on her.
Italics mean speech aside to the story from the narrator, who perhaps isn't just a narrator but someone right under Lucas' nose.
