My Summer With You

Summer Camp is so not how I wanted to spend my summer, even if it was at the prestigious Ridgeway Performing Arts School. It's basically like summer school, only instead of Math and Science, it's Acting 101 and Singing 365. I definitely don't want to be here because my parents will be off basking in the European sun. Or shopping in London and Paris. Or being completely unfair to their one and only daughter. I'm even willing to over look the fact that they secretly recorded me singing and sent it in with my application to Ridgeway, if it meant Europe. Ridgeway is the type of place where all the girl are barbies and all the guys seriously attractive, especially Spencer Hayworth, who's dating queen Barbie herself, Meredith Lipton. Trust me, catty and jealous "performers" are a terrible way to spend the summer, especially when they're willing to stab backs and do anything just to get a solo or lead role in a play. How will I ever survive this summer?
