In this distopian life, things are getting out of control. Ruins and pollution from a past war ravish the environment. A virtually invisible government hides in the shadows, killing people unexpectedly. There is a new mutation of cancer that is now contagious through air and touch. Many a friend or family member has been taken in to quarantine and never come back; Arellia's mother and father being a part of that group. She lives this life. With everything lost, the last thing to keep her going is her little sister. One day, Arellia is thrown into a whirlpool of chaos when her sister is taken by Them, a secret agency, for a reason she does not know. She must go through hell and high water, befriend strangers she never thought she'd meet, and beat the odds to save her sister. But she soon discovers a deadly secret stands in her way, one she must overcome to finish her voyage. She must make a decision: save her sister and sacrifice the world or let her sister die to save her friends? It is a story of bravery, lies, and sacrifice that will change all thoughts of what it means to be human, forever.
