When I looked at that pale face with large black hair and those eyes so white like the snow with crooked teeth, I was impressed. In that moment I scream but that covered my mouth and hit me, it was so strong that I fainted.

this story is about a scientist in Antarctica slowly losing his sanity I can feel the corners of my lips tug upwards and before I know it, I'm cackling. My laughter rings through the empty room, bouncing off the walls as I double over in hysterics. Despite the dire situation, I can't seem to stop. With each passing second, my giggles become more uncontrollable, more manic. As I catch my breath, I try to reassure myself. "Everything will be fine," I tell myself, punctuating my sentence with another bout of laughter. "Because, because!" I repeat, and my voice breaks into another round of giggles. But soon, my mirth turns to misery as my laughter becomes sobs. I collapse on my hands and knees, tears streaming down my face until they blur my vision. The tears burn my skin, adding to my anguish. I can't even cry in peace, can't even surrender to my despair without feeling physical pain. "Oh god, I ruin everything Johnny- I'm sorry!" I cry out, my voice cracking. "I'm supposed to keep care of you and I'm sorry! I'm so sorry Johnny!" I scream, pounding my fists on the cold, hard floor in frustration. It's no use. Nothing can save me. I feel my tears freezing on my face and I quickly dry them with the back of my hand. I crawl over to the fire, seeking warmth and comfort. But there's no comfort to be found.

I struggled and lashed out at him hoping to cause some, any damage at all that might allow me to escape, instead his grip tightened and a whimper escaped without my consent. His touch burned, or at least I imagined it burning, sizzling my skin until it was burnt to a crisp. He clawed down the back of my dress, shredding the lace fabric to bits as if it was paper, it floated to the ground like confetti, I looked at it in disgust, as if it was celebrating my exposure. The cold air of the store room nipped at my bare back, contrasting between the burning fire his touch inflicted. I felt sick. He was now shoving himself closer to me until it was impossible for me to move. I could hardly even breath. I was seeing red and I couldn't even do anything. I felt so helpless. Tears welled up in my eyes and they threatened to spill. I shut them tight wishing I had just stayed at home. Suddenly the pressure released. I could breath. Once again I was shocked and didn't know what was happening until I opened my eyes and saw the rogue getting up and looking to my right. I hadn't even noticed the large figure standing protectively next to me and so I was staggering away from him too. Power radiated from him making me feel safe and scared at the same time.

My mind scrambling to process what had happened as I felt rubble falling around me, surrounding me in darkness. I wiped my forehead, sweat, and probably blood dripping down my arm and side of head as I reached for a nearby rock, trying to push on it, hoping that it might help me out of this disaster. "Mom? Betty?" I called, hoping for a response, only to get none. I didn't even get the slightest whimper from any of them. What the heck happened? "Mom?! Betty?!" I screamed this time, trying to push myself up onto my back, my leg killing me so much that I had to give up. I laid back down on the ground, placing my hand on the bottom of the table; anger, fear, confusion getting the best of me. I screamed as I banged my fists on the wood table. "MOM? BETTY?" Nothing. I was ready to bang on the wood again, but I flinched back when I heard the sound of moving rubble. Whoever it is was almost near where I was, and ... moving quickly. So, there's no possible way that it was a human. It would take hundreds do men to lift these boulders, but whoever this person is, is stronger than anyone I would kn- My thoughts froze as I watched something large wrap around the edges of the table, lifting it up; my eyes widening as I came face to face with the largest creature known to mankind. A giant. (This is my book from my own brain. These are my own characters based off my family members. Please do not steal it.)

Suddenly, we stopped by the edge of the staircase. "You're mine." He whispers in a hoarse tone placing a kiss on my cheek hitting me on the head with the back of the knife. I was seeing double. I was feeling dizzy, everything was spinning. I felt like I was in slow motion groaning at the pain looking down the stairs. That's the last thing I see before I black out. "Blaze?" He says and I hate it. I hate how he says my name as if it's his. Like he knows it's the only thing I want to hear, him calling out to me, looking at me, focused to me. It's the first time in my life I wanted someone's attention so badly I didn't care how I got it. And that was too dangerous for me to hold onto. "Are you insane or some shit? I could have killed you!" He says and starts to walk towards me. I take a big breath and step back away from him, "s-stop! Axel," I stutter still panting. It's then he notices the blood on my hands and shirt. "Is that blood?" He asks staring at my shirt and I take another step back. "Stop, stay b-back," I try to say confidently but I can't even breath right. Realizing he won't listen I start to turn around planning to make a break for it. "Don't run from me Blaze it won't go well," he growls reading my thoughts causing me to freeze in my spot. "Do not ever think you can get away from me."

"B... Bryce?" I said quietly between my light sobs. He didn't answer me. He looked dangerous. His hands covered in blood, his jaw damaged, his eyes... I didn't know, what exactly I saw in them, but I knew, there was nothing good. I realized, I might be in danger myself. I had no idea of what is going on in his mind. I started walking away, keeping my body close to the wall behind me. I stumbled on some trash, but gained my balance back, never leaving the sight of him - now, a total stranger, in front of me. He slowly followed me, his eyes registering every movement I made. They looked predatory, all his appearance looked like it. Following every movement of his pray. And I knew that pray was me. Some cries left my dry lips. I couldn't hold in anymore of this tension. I turned around and started to run, run away from this place, away from him. Before I could make some steps, I felt my upper arm grabbed strongly. I let out a scream and desperately tried to free myself from his strong grip. Bryce took my other arm and made me face him. My heart dropped in my stomach, as I saw his hard stare. I stopped for a second, but then tried to get myself away from him again. "Stop trying! You are not going anywhere!" I heard his voice, which was said through his clenched teeth. He momentarily turned me around and grabbed my hole upper body and wrapped his strong arms around me, making it impossible to move my hands and myself. I started to scream again, but again, his fast movements stopped me. I felt him squeeze me tighter. He lifted me up from the ground a bit and put his large hand on my mouth. That made my panic rise even more. I was so afraid. I had no idea of what he is going to do with me. Is he going to kill me? I felt his head resting against my head, his breath touching the top of my ear, sending a strong shiver of fear through my body. I couldn't see anything, as my eyes were filled with endless streams of tears.
