200 years after the Great World War, population has been compromised into a small society to keep war from happening. The society consist of many rules and regulations to keep things in order. The society is surround with high secure walls that keep people from leaving unless authorized to do so. After Daniel Rueson's father commits an act of rebellion his family is automatically sentence to death for the thought of rebel blood running through their genes. Daniel Rueson, and his seventeen year old sister, Lily escape from the society in hope to escape death and to start a new life from scratch by surviving the forest that the outside world has shifted too over time. Daniel and Lily encounter lots of twist and turns before they discover a hope, and idea that could take over the authority of the society and put a free peace to the living conditions and rules of the society.

I was 13 when I began this book, and am now taking the time to go back to completely rewrite it, and maybe just publish someday~ I'm 15 and my name is Astrix. Let's start with that. That seems like an easy thing to start with. Now, let me add in some other details. I live in a zombie apocalypse. Yeah, that's about as enjoyable as I can make it seem. Now let me add in something else. I'm wanted by the CIA for reasons that I don't even know, but I guess I will find out eventually. Maybe somewhere within my story I will figure it out. She has made a promise to her older brother, Drew, while he was on his death bed, to protect their younger siblings- a promise she hopes she doesn't break. She is very tough, but fear is a constant no matter who you are. In the story, fear is ruling her; the fear that she's failing Drew. If she, her family, and her neighbors were not in this setting, she'd be perfectly happy. But she can't be happy now, not with everything that's going on.Lengkap
