Thorn, a name that was bestowed on him by the young Alpha who discovered him in a basket in the forest almost twenty three years ago. Wrapped in dirty cloth and crying from hunger, thirst and the elements, he gripped a gemstone necklace in his tiny fingers, a piece of jewellery that had been crafted from the rarest black spinel and the only clue to his existence.
