In a society now defined by a war that has lasted decades, soldiers have become a scarce resource. As a result, the government has resorted to drafting children as young as ten years old. Plagued with nightmares of war, many children have fled their homes to escape the draft. Twins Isaiah and Florence are the unquestioned leaders of a group of these fugitive children. They carry out dangerous tasks to support the run-aways keep their operation undetected by the government. Isaiah has fallen into a false illusion of life and as the threat of being discovered by the law grows more imminent, he must accept the truth and realize that life is not what he believed it was.

The Last Time I Saw City Lights
Fear brings out the worst in us, it did to me. The youngest of three brothers is taken hostage by the new-and-unimproved government where he's reunited with his siblings, but only to awaken a different breed of problems born from this new ruling power. The point of the story was to bring up childhood trauma and be all edgy; and the political aspect was just me documenting how conservative people feel. With the whole "gay agenda" and everything. I saw white ppl acting crazy and saying stuff like that a lot as a kid, so I just wrote a lil thang. I realize that this aged horribly. Horribly. Um.
