19 year old Alix has always been a responsible, organized, young woman with a good head on her shoulders. Unfortunately, she's also always been sheltered by her overprotective and smothering, paranoid parents. After a year of going to a community college and working two jobs she managed to save up enough money for a week long trip to England to visit some friends during the summer, and a bit more.
However, things take a turn for the worse when she gets drunk at a party that was thrown for one of her friends--someone who she'd been crushing on for years.

I'm so glad I could help you get away from them." I frown. "You were there?" "Of course. I couldn't let anything happen to you. I was so worried when I saw those guys cornering you.
