This is me regaining my dignity by fixing 'The Shifter', a book I wrote three years ago.
She is the last of the Shifters, a race superior and rare. On this adventure, she meets Thorin Oakenshield and his Company of twelve dwarves, a hobbit and a wizard. When her mate is just in reach, will she find him? What if it is someone within the company? When an old enemy returns, will she be able to face them, or will she fall to the thorns?

Nina Carren of Esgaroth has one goal-to make Thorin Oakenshield pay for unleashing Smaug the dragon unto her home-where he destroyed the town and killed her family.
