Her mother was killed when she was eleven. Their pack blamed her, and soon after, her father left her and her older brother, going rogue and taking her twin brother. She gets beaten daily, and is a stress reliever to most of the pack members. She finds her mate when she's walking home, but due to her wolf being dormant, she's unable to recognize him. Her mates name is Alexander Lopez. He's the next in line alpha of the Rising Blood Moon pack, and has been searching for his mate since he turned fourteen. He finds her, and because of her dormant wolf, he thinks she's human. Soon she goes missing, because her pack members sold her to a rogue pack. Alex searches, and searches, but cannot find her. Her wolf has to completely go dormant, because it's just causing her pain and she would died of she didn't. Alex thinks that she's dead, because he felt the connection between them break. He finds another girl to be his mate, and when Ashleigh is found, she is heartbroken. Not only was it her pack that made her suffer through all that because they sold her, but her mate had given up on her because her wolf had to go into dormancy. She falls into severe depression, and develops a form of PTSD, that was formed from the shock she had from her pack and mate's betrayal. She isn't happy anymore, and that brightness she had in her personality is gone, leaving a husk of her former self. Will her pack and mate right their terrible wrongs, and bring her back to her former glory, or will they carry on with how they are, and have her fall into a comatose like state? Read on to find out.

Maggie, aided by a man named Liam and the rest of The Trust, learns what she really is- the last of a race of beings called “Phoenixes”, creatures who have the ability to call fire and use it as they wish. The revenants, led by a creature named Ossa, will stop at nothing to get Maggie; needing her blood to bring them to full power. Maggie must not only come to believe in all that she has heard, including that she’s one of these mythical creatures from stories, but also learn how to wield her power to face the creatures that would destroy both worlds Maggie has come to know of. While doing this, Maggie builds friendships she’s never had, must rise above her own self doubt, and quite possibly learn what it means to fall in love.

Matter of fact, this was 8th grade. My writing was utter trash, and I only haven't deleted it because it's the only piece of writing i've completed. So read at your own risk, the story is decent, but it's fast and not the best put together.
