The League has decided to create there sidekicks to get some school done while saving the world. Unfortunately, Dick Grayson is one of the many, the Boy Wonder wants no part in this, and would rather stay at Gotham Academy, but Batman decides it best and now the sidekicks are dormant at, Superhero Academy.

Bruce Wayne was never at the circus. Dick Grayson lost his parents at nine years old, but he was never taken in by Bruce since Bruce didn't know about the loss. However, someone else decided to take him in. Someone who isn't afraid of using children for his own personal gain. In fact, he had been looking for a while for an apprentice. And someone as young and vulnerable as Dick was perfect for the taking. So, that's what Slade Wilson did. He took the small, impressionable boy as his own.
