After her parents cattle ranch is sold she is forced out of the homestead to start over. She travels deep to the North of Australia far from the nearest town to a cattle farm called 'Dry Lake,' hoping to work in a cattle drive, an unusual job for a lass. She then meets, Clem, the cattle drive boss, who constantly tantalizes her for her "none-go-wrong" background, even so she finds a strange feeling for him.
