•-•-•-•Kate is a 18 year old young women in Australia during WWII, starting her life a new. Born into a middle class family, she had all she needed, if anything most of what she wanted. After her parents cattle ranch is sold she is forced out of the homestead to start over. She travels deep to the North of Australia far from the nearest town to a cattle farm called 'Dry Lake,' hoping to work in a cattle drive, an unusual job for a lass. She then meets, Clem, the cattle drive boss, who constantly tantalizes her for her "none-go-wrong" background, even so she finds a strange feeling for him.
