Aberdeen Wells, or as she likes to be called, Adena is a fifteen year old girl with a life more complicated that even she knows. On the way back from visiting her sister at her college, her and her parents are involved in a terrible car crash. Her parents don't make it, and are buried a week later. Normally, children who lose their parents mourn and cry, and move past the driving process, but not Aberdeen. Aberdeen believes that she is unemotional towards her parents death, causing her sister to send her to therapy sessions. Overtime, Aberdeen makes the first friend her ever had, and even falls in love with someone who appreciates Aberdeen for Aberdeen, flaws and all. But how far can Aberdeen go before she's forced to deal with the emotions she's pushed aside for so long?
