Penelope and Peyton Jennings have been known there whole life as Pen and Paper. The names are perfect for them. Pen's an aspiring writer and Paper loves nothing more than to read. But the twins are nothing alike.

Pen's a shy girl who is perfectly content staying home every night. She stays up till midnight plotting every detail in her newest novels or her specialty, screenplays. She dreams of writing screenplays in Hollywood

Paper is a popular girl who goes out every night. She stays up till midnight laughing and hanging out with friends. She dreams of acting in Hollywood.

When Pen's screenplay is read by her English teacher and she wants to have it performed, Pen is ecstatic. This is her dream come true. But what is she supposed to do when her sister expects her to give her the lead when in truth, Paper is the exact opposite of the lead.

Pen finds herself thrown in a whirlwind of trouble. How is she supposed to direct a play, keep up with schoolwork, deal with an obnoxious "Princess Bride" obsessed brother, a dad with crazy road trip plans, and keep her relationship with her sister alive?
