It was a sunny day in Avrance, the southern Vampire kingdom, where Vladimir and Aryana Ashcroft ruled loyal subjects and raised a lovely daughter, Ophelia. Ophelia had turned 17 in the previous fall, so they began to throw magnificent parties in order to help her find her mate. 

The night of the Summer Solstice came around, and Ophelia still hadn't found her mate. This worried the King and Queen because most girls met theirs the night of their 17th birthday, but maybe her's was just shy..... (under reconstruction)
