When you are born, you are given a unique tattoo on your ankle if you're a girl, and on your upper chest if you're a boy. Nobody in the entire universe has the same tattoo as you - unless you are a twin. Everytime you fall in love, - like genuine love - you get that person's tattoo anywhere on your body except your left wrist. The thing is, you can never get rid if them. A laser doesn't work, so you just have to try to cover them up - unless you're proud of them which most people aren't. Now, I mentioned earlier that you don't get any on your left wrist. That's because that spot is saved for your soulmate's tattoo.
There are a few different points of view that I'll be writing from. This is my first book and I don't have an editor. So please don't judge. FYI there is probably a plot hole in this story, so don't mind it. Hope you enjoy!!

When you turn 14, you get a tattoo that describes your soulmate. As you spend more time with them, it gets more detailed. But when you kiss your soulmate for the first time, you tattoo glows and shows their name. But this only happens when it is love and love only. (So if you just kiss someone to kiss them then your tattoo won't glow) As for your soulmate dying, your tattoo turns black and shows a small picture of them with their name under.
