When the gods of today took over, the gods of old had no choice but to save their creations by placing them in a realm where their magic could still flourish. They named this realm, Ceres. Xavia Cole is a sorcerer; just one of many whose ancestry drew from Ceres. Adopted into the House of Willem when her parents died as a child, she has been living a modest life as Guardian to the Gate of Ceres and holding a false title as secretary at the agency her foster father runs while managing his otherworldly affairs.
