Eleven year old Tabitha Spelling lives in a Covent Garden theatre, with her father, the Spellmaster and the actors. Her father is abusive, but the actors turn their cheeks to her abuse. But Tabitha has a way to get through it. She wants to be a playwright, but her father won't allow it. Or allow her to be on stage. Even thought it is forbidden she still hides away in a world of plays and stages. When her father catches her one night, what will she do? Stop, or carry on, risking her life to do what she was born to do?
