Temperance lives in a world where humans and vampires exist together, but the humans don't know that vampire exist. 
Temperance doesn't want to feed on humans. In fact, she hates the taste and even the smell of blood. She can't even look at the subsistence without fainting. As you probably can guess, the vampires dont want her to be a part of their clan if she wont be a normal vampire. So when the counsel tells her they will destroy her if she doesn't drink blood, she set out to go to a human town and feed on a human. her best friends Lilth and Murmur decide to go with her. They decide to play a game. The girls each have to get a human boy to fall in love with them. Whoever can do it first gets all three boys as a prize. But what happens when Temperance starts to fall in love with the boy she is supposed to be using as food?
