Arial Highland is a girl who is hanging onto life by a thread, the recent death of her parents is killing her slowly. All for what? Money. Her parents had won the lottery and were about to cash the ticket in when a man came and shot them, right in front of her. The man got away but the money was in Aria's hands, though it could not replace the loss of her family.

Serina Reanold is a girl who is wounded both body and soul. Her parents never loved her and take out their aggression on her all the time. Her turmoil has led her to become enrolled in dangerous situations, but throughout it all she stands by her friend. She wants to see the smile upon Arial's face again, so when she finds a box of kittens by the road she decides to take them hoping they can help cheer her friend up.

But the kittens are more than they appear, and their presence starts a chain of events thats spirals towards the truth
