I wanted to make your life perfect but I couldn't I know you've gone through a lot But you never knew what I was going through I knew I wasn't perfect for you Still I tried to be by your side Taking an oath that I'll never leave you behind I wish you could ever understand me the way I understood you.

Too many people let me down. Too many hurt me. I walked a lonely path, a path that ended without a light. I made a choice to change that. I changed the way the river runs.
