A Juror's Verdict

24 parts Complete Mature

Nicholaus Downes is being charged with first degree murder of his girlfriend Cassandra Rye. Amelia Perry is one of the jurors on the Downes case and from the moment Amelia's eyes met Nicholaus's in the courtroom, she is not only attracted to him, but she believes that that he is innocent. As the case is presented and the evidence only proves his guilt how can she send the accused to jail when she doesn't think he did it? Can she make the other jurors see that he didn't commit the crime they say he did? Amelia's friend Bridgette Logan has been following the Downes case from the moment it was in the news. Not that she knew Cassandra, but they had some connections, and she believed that Nicholaus Downes is innocent too. She wants to prove it, and maybe it could be possible with the help of a stranger who is more connected to the case than she knows. *This story is set in the late 1990's.
