No one would ever suspect Matt Sanders to have trouble finding a girlfriend. He was the lead singer in one of the most well know bands around. But he was tired of the groupies, and the girls that just wanted him for his fame. He wanted something real.

So he created an online account for a music site. A place he was comfortable with, given the fact music was his life. He kept his profile low key, making sure he didn't use his real name or any pictures. He didn't expect much more than to find a good friend to occasionally talk with about music.

What he wasn't expect was to find Linds. A girl that was timid and shy during their first encounters. But a girl that just enjoyed talking with him about any and everything. A girl that didn't judge or curse out someone because of their taste in music. A girl that once he got to know her was actually really interesting and down to earth. A girl who had him falling hard almost instantly.

That was almost five years ago.

Matt has never been so love with a girl before. He'd do almost anything for Linds, expect for the one thing she has kept asking for. He could tell he was slowly losing her because of this, but no matter how much they argued over it she always stayed. It was a simple, easy request but he just couldn't see her. It's not like he didn't want to see her, or hold her, it's just the fact he's been lying to her for five years about his true identity. And he was terrified that he'd lose her if he ever told her the truth.

But the lies start crumbling at his feet when Linds flies to California to attend the same wedding he's going to. He knows that this was fates way of getting him back.

Will Matt take the chance and confront her with the truth and risk losing her. Or will he continue with his secrecy and risk losing her. It's a decision Matt is definitely not prepared for.

"I have and so will you." He shook his head, shut his eyes, and leaned his forehead against the glass. "And here I was thinking you would admit that you don't tell the truth either." Last Shadow || Deception Book III by Astaroth_312

***I'm back. I know it's been two years. But I'm back. Officially not on hold anymore!! (I'm so sorry) *** Some people keep secrets to protect others. Some people lie to do the same. The victims always say they would rather hear the truth, the buried secrets, than be lied to. Because that's betrayal, isn't it? But what if the reasons for lies and secrets are necessary to protect those from themselves? What if, by telling a truth, one creates room FOR betrayal? What if the truth hurts more than the lie? *** It had never crossed Clarianna Sinclair's mind that her entire life might have been a lie. Sure, the gods didn't have a squeaky clean reputation, but she didn't think whatever they were hiding from her would be THAT bad. It was that bad. Worse, actually. And the thing was, the truth did hurt more than the lie. Because the prophecy revealed to her on the darkest day of the year was dark as hell and just as confusing. Half a year later, she still hadn't unravelled it. All she knew was that it was about her, the war, and the ominous promise of a last shadow. *** Luke knew that the truth hurt. It always did. But he also knew head one was the only way to face it. He also knew that betrayal was just part of the human character, and everyone betrayed and was betrayed eventually. Promises were made to be broken, after all. But he still wasn't prepared for it. He didn't expect it to come from the one person he thought he could trust. She had left him. Without a word, even after everything they'd gone through together. Without her, he was adrift in the vast sea with no tether to shore. No one other than the titan down in the pit, who, he was beginning to think, had been a mistake. A terrible mistake. But there was nothing he could do about it now, not when he was this deep, and certainly not when she wasn't here. Little did he know that, even when she came back, she wouldn't be the same girl who had left him.

****book two of Savage MC series***** "Go on sweetie, blow out the candles and make a wish. Now don't tell anyone or it won't come true" "I wont, I promise". * We've all dreamed of being princesses who wore beautiful dresses and danced and swirled around in high roofed ball rooms. We've all wanted long, wavy hair and looks that stopped people in their tracks. We've all wanted a Kingdom that worshipped us indefinitely, starstruck on the idea of us. I wished and got my dream, in a roundabout way. See I wore beautiful outfits that were designed solely for me. I had hair that many would kill for and had perfected my make up to the point that I gave make up artists a run for their money. Best of all I had a Kingdom that worshipped the ground I danced on and paid to do it too; starstruck didn't come close to what they felt when they saw me. Yeah I got my fairytale princess story, in a way that was no sort of fairytale at all. * Aine had her Kingdom that she fought to own the throne in and Switch had his brotherhood that was all he needed. Two different people, two different stories. When trouble arises in the club, she'll do whatever she has to do to keep herself from becoming vulnerable and he'll do everything to tear her Kingdom apart...question is will he get what he wants or destroy them both in the process? Funny how time passes and it seems like it hasn't at all. ************************************** Three things about this story: -I'm going to make you love something you otherwise would hate. -I'm going to make you hate something you previously loved. -And by doing both of the above I'm going to break your heart. Get ready. ***Sexual content and bad language****

My Girl

64 parts Complete Mature

Cal Jackson's new life as a rockstar fails to account for one thing: the existence of the girl he loves. ***** "What are you thinking about?" she asks. "A song," I say. "A new song." I stare at the ocean as I sing the song that I wrote, something that comes from the darkest place of my heart. "Do you even know how gifted you are?" she whispers. "You're destined to be someone big, Cal." "Really?" "Yeah." ***** She's perfect in every way. Beautiful. Smart. Her bright future is right there in front of her eyes. While here I am. Ruined. No college, let alone a future. Just an image of a wannabe rockstar with tattoed arms and an old guitar. I knew that our story would be no less than that tragic Romeo and Juliet shit the moment I laid my eyes on her, but still, I can't resist her. The moment she whispers my name, "Cal," I lose all sanity. She becomes my melody, my lyrics, the song that keeps echoing in my ears. People call her Mia. I call her my Amy, her name crafted above my beating heart, tattoed on my skin. Amelia Davis is my girl. Mine. And only mine. © 2021 Anya Jayvyn. All Rights Reserved.
