"The Ghost of the Dark Tower haunts this very courtyard. It is said that he is a young man, who did very terrible things in his past. He was sentenced by God himself to be a ghost here, in this dark and gloomy tower, never to leave. Every night, he comes out to watch the sea and the stars. Every night, he comes and waits for a victim." James is the seventeen year old boy who was trapped in the tower of his uncle's castle by a witch of great power. She has kept him there for centuries, giving him the tower and courtyard to explore, all except for her study and the library. James is a silent man, had always been silent, but now he wants to be heard. He longs to find someone who can break his curse. If only he knew how to break his curse. 

Jessi is a normal teenage girl, looking for a fright. She believes highly in anything paranormal. She is frightened by the Ghost of the Dark Tower, and by how the tower seems to be filled with dark magic. She just so happens to be a descendent of the witch who cursed James, but she does not realize that by being with him, she can break his curse and free him of the tower. First, they must get through and beat the darkness that lurks in the tower of Malone.
