We both leaned against the old house, peeling paint digging into my arms as I a glanced into the window.

She was there!

Raising her gun toward the Sheriff, she took careful aim as a maniacal sneer formed on her lips.

"You disgust me," she snarled with unbounded rage. Throwing her head back suddenly, she let loose a loud, evil laugh, straight from the bowels of hell.

"At least this way, I get to personally witness your last breath," she grinned as she cocked her gun. "Quite the consolation prize, I assure you."

I glanced over at Frank, who nodded as he tensed himself to break through the door. Cocking my own weapon, I knew that this was the moment...capture or kill, this all ended now.

"I damn you to Hell Sheriff," she shouted then, "You should feel right at home there."

Frank burst through the door with me close behind...it was the moment that my life changed...forever!

At eight, they put on latex gloves and pulled socks on their heads. Then each picked up a shotgun from the back seat, strode across the street, and barged into the store. "Don't even think about pushing the alarm button," Eric shouted, pointing his gun at the owner. "In the corner, now! Over there." McKinley and Rose scurried to a corner and sat on the floor. Natalie sprayed the cameras with black paint, leaving dark circles on the wall. His two-barrel shotgun pointed at the hostages, Eric glanced at two ends of the street and drew the curtains. Natalie went behind the showcases, leaned her gun against the wall, and emptied trays full of jewelry into a garbage bag. Rose was shaking, and tears poured down her eyes." We're gonna die. We're gonna die here tonight. I'm so young. It's too soon." McKinley grabbed her shoulders. "It's Okay. They'll take what they want, and leave." "Is it true Mr.? You leave when you get the jewels?" She asked Eric, her voice breaking. "Shut your mouth." He pointed the shotgun at her face. "He's gonna kill us. He's gonna kill us." Her gaze moved between the gun muzzle and his eyes. Eric sneered, enjoying her fear. A big diamond hung from a gold necklace. Natalie picked it up, and her eyes sparkled, admiring its delicate chain and smoothly cut stone. "How much is this worth, old man?" McKinley stared at her. " Grump!" She dropped the necklace in the bag. Rose's water tap was still running. " He's gonna kill us. He's gonna kill us." She whimpered.

I had gotten away with a lot in the past few weeks. Two attractive girls successfully murdered along with a house pet to warn one of my targets she was not safe. I have not forgotten her, long black hair and beautiful blue eyes as well as a model figure. Don't think I have stopped with my plan, she is still on the list and her time will come. She was supposed to be my second victim however it seemed I made things too difficult for myself by sending these notes, with her boyfriend always on guard but he can't protect her forever. The police and security in this town were clearly useless, no evidence, no clues, nothing. I was hungry when I murdered Jess at her party and I was feeding my appetite. You are probably questioning my motives by now, I can't revel that just yet but things will become clearer in time, after all the truth is out there. When I was younger I never expected to become what I had became now, it stemmed from the way I had been treated. See I have no remorse because people never had any for me, once I wore my disguise, I was hidden, well protected and nobody knew who I was excluding the party however I still had my killer instincts about me, you had to become the perfect murderer. I keep my personality different from when I'm the hunter to when I'm just plain old me. When I'm a killer, it's any means necessary but when I'm my plain, normal self then I'm just an ordinary high school student like everybody else. I had my reasons for what I did, some may say I take things too far however I don't see things that way, I see things in perspective to the way they should be. Chelsea Broker was my next target unless somebody else got in my way first...

Guns, revenge and buildings to bomb, what could go wrong? ✮ He came in, gun held out in front of him in one hand while the other was resting on his hip where a sharp dagger gleamed in the light. "Come on out little girl, why not make this easier for both of us. The agency you ran away from just want to have a little talk, that's all." She scoffed internally. Yeah right. Then the footsteps ceased. She peeked to the right, then to the left. Neither direction showed any sign of the intruder. She looked up in front of her and gasped, the glint of steel and smell of death as overwhelming as it was adrenaline inducing, exciting. "Boo." ✮ Murder, accidents, assassinations. Call it what you will, it's all the same, all has the same life breaking, mind shattering consequences - be it for the victim or the bystander. It had shaped Alex in a way no one should be. Broken down and rebuilt into the perfect soldier, one who had the power to change the world, to fight battles that would either make or break the carefully constructed vision we all live in. The only small, minute, really unimportant detail - it's pretty hard to get into a government classified site when you're 15 years old and have a rag-tag team of double-crossing back-stabbers behind you. Not to mention the threat of a world war and ghost hanging above your head. Armed with sarcasm, wit, and a hell of a lot of aggressive intentions, it won't be too long till a sticky situation is all that's ahead of you. Sometimes, running head-first into a situation isn't the best idea. Instead, you gotta play a game. A deadly game where either you have all the pieces on the board, or you have nothing. [previously known as Espionage: double-cross] Thanks for reading :)

Highest ranked- #10 in action 2/16/2017 A promotion. That's all I wanted. I didn't want to run for my life. I didn't want to be kidnapped. I didn't want to face death. I didn't want to find out my whole life was a lie. I just wanted a bloody promotion. Guess fate had other plans? **** The cold air fanned over my face as I opened the door. The exit door lead to the back of the building so it was pitch black. I leaned against the wall trying to control myself. Blood was running down my arm and head. My hair was stuck to my face from all the sweat and blood. Everything was spinning around me and the ground seemed like it was shaking. Groaning I sat down and put my head on my knees. He knows who I am. He knows how I look like. He knows where I work so possible knows where I live. I am not safe anymore... no where. While I was in my own world I heard faint sounds behind me but I didn't bother to look or run away. The footsteps got closer and I was pretty sure it was Walker's men. I should run. I should try to fight. But what's the point in trying to run away? He would eventually find me and if he has his way he would most likely kill me. If this is my fate then why am I trying to fight it? I felt someone harshly grab my waist and pull me up and I complied. They dragged me down the alley and into the busy street. I heard the opening of a car and the next thing I knew I was being thrown into a car. My head hit the hard leather seat and the door shut behind me. Maybe this is how my life will end. Maybe I should just let it happen. Maybe I was destined to die alone as a no one. With that I let the darkness consume me.
