High school is when it happened. Criminals start to die, and I start to be more careful of what I'm doing. But we all knew about the one who kills them all... Kira.... I don't believe the fact that he's a god like everyone says... What's more weird, other than Kira, is the fact that the top student in school, Light Yagami, wants to befriend me. College life is the next step in my life. After college I want to join the police force, work under cases and such. Kira is still going around, killing people, now starting to kill innocent people. Then, the person who I'm forced to sit with talks to me again... Light.. But I know that knowing Light... Makes me feel uneasy. Especially ever since I passed notes with him in high school. Ever since then, I saw something by his side at all times, a shinigami... Shinigami.. Gods of death... Then there's a notebook I noticed that Light had.. Death note... I think Light is Kira.. But then I meet L, a member of the group who's working on the Kira case, the best detective in Japan, the one person who hides his identity.... Can I tell him..? Can I trust him...? He seems to trust me enough to tell me that he's L. But there are a few things stuck in my head... Why did he offer me to help him? Why does he want me to help at all? Why does he want me by his side? Why does he want me to choose a letter as a name? Especially for broadcasting? L.... You care about me... Don't you? Or... Are you just trying to make me feel welcome..? This was originally going to have a character but then I decided to make it and L x Reader story. Your point of view will be written in first person, this is only because this is my first x reader story. But I hope you enjoy nonetheless. This, of course, isn't their first time in detention but something seemed different. The teacher leaves to do something leaving the kids completely unsupervised which was kind of weird. He usually left some goody two shoes to watch them but this time there was no one except them. Creepy things begin to happen and they find themselves locked in the school. What was this? Time is ticking as they try to find their way out before they end up lying in a puddle of their own blood.

Lunch went by pretty quickly, and we were back to classes soon enough. I'd forgotten to get a book from my locker, so I quickly went to get it. I was leaning on the locker next to mine as I quickly scanned my schedule on my locker door, when warm air fanned the side of my face. "Move." Being the excellent human being I am, I jumped out of fright, flinging the heavy calculus textbook in my hand backwards. I heard a grunt and turned to find the person behind me now hunched over as they held onto a part of their face. "Oh God! I'm so sorry!" I panicked. And then he looked up. The first thing I noticed was his short, dark hair. It looked so smooth, and I almost reached out to play with it. My eyes trailed down to his strong jaw line, down to his broad shoulders. I didn't even realize that I was biting my lip as I further inspected the Adonis before me. His arm flexed, bringing my attention to the amber eye he was now covering. It was him. Six. The most popular and dangerous guy in school. And I'd managed to injure him with my calculus textbook.
