I looked up into his eyes and tried to see through his stare he had been giving me this entire time. But I couldn't see what was hidden behind his blue irises. Without their usual playful glint they just looked like snow daggers looking down at me. I felt an overwhelming surge of nausea hit me at the same time he glanced behind my shoulder. My mind had hit a brick wall and I couldn't focus on getting any words out. He gave me a quick pitiful look and then turned around and walked away. No more words. No more explanations. Just a short statement and bam he's gone.

Ever since they were born Katelyn Kross and Adam Vermont have been best friends. That is, until Adam gets a girlfriend who causes a breaking point in the two's friendship. No longer wanting to be the one to forgive and forget, Katelyn decides to team up with her friend Jenna in having the time of her life. They create a plan to make the most of every opportunity whether it is during their senior year at school or on the weekends. But what Katelyn doesn't plan for is to face more trouble, loss, heartbreak, and possibly love that she has ever felt before. No matter how hard she tries to run away she can't help but think how it always leads to Tahoe.
