Aristocracy is a powerful rule which has been bestowed upon the Percy family generation after generation.
When Elaina’s parents suddenly die she is married off to a young billionaire, Erik Percy, whom has been passed down the company and reputation that his late father left behind. Everyone seems to believe that he is who his father used to be; loyal, respectable, and kind. Has everyone been fooled by a professional façade or is Elaina the only one who has earned his wrath?
Elaina is not attracted to the pain that is bestowed upon her when she is with her husband, but why does she feel intrigued by a young man that she had only recently become acquainted with?
