Kathryn,or as she prefers,Katie, isn't a very normal girl. She's 'weird' I guess you could say. She had black and purple hair,a nose stud on the left side,along with her cartilage pierced on her right ear. She wore different clothes and listened to different music,aka good music.
People think the reason she doesn't talk to anyone,AT ALL,is because she can't. When really she is just so petrified by fear that she can't. Her mom is the one to blame for that...she has been an abusive druggie/alcoholic ever sense she was born. Katie doesn't understand what she did to make her mom resent her so much...yeah she had a different style,but she hasn't always been like that...it couldn't be religious reasons,because her mom is also atheist....She might never know.
Finally after 20 years of abuse and torment Katie decides she has had enough...she grabs her things and leave for good...but where will she go...
