Being an average teen didn't come easy for Eldwin Carmichael. He spent most of his days with his nose in a history book, keeping to himself. Until one day, while on a school field trip, that all changed.

Now being the only one able to see a ghost from the past, Eldwin is on the run in fear for his life. After ending up in a hospital nearly dead, he attends school hoping everything will have returned to normal.That's when a magician assumed dead thousands of years ago transports the students to Ancient Egypt where he turns them into slaves.

On the other side of the world, born in the ancient land of Surga, Alvera's life couldn't be better. Betrothed to the Pharaoh of Egypt, Ammon, becoming his queen is something she's always dreamed of. Unfortunately, her dreams were short lived when Pharaoh's advisor, Hamon, murdered her love.

Forced into slavery, Alvera must wait for her new knight in shining armor to save her, but time is running short. She doesn't know how much longer she can hold out with the beatings she receives daily. If he doesn't arrive soon, she might not be around to greet him.
