I remember my journal. I took it from my bag then waved at the waitress for my fourth cup. Then I began scribbling. It's the unfinished poem I was writing the other day. This is one thing that I'm fond of doing here in Gloria's other than sipping coffee: journaling. The atmosphere here allows me to extract my mental juices. You know, I can make a short story by just looking at the faces of people who are coming in and out of the shop. Or a poem about the stains on this table. Or an elegy for my cigarette.
