Rose Demetrious is a lost soul with a dark past and a secret...she is a vampire. She is the Commander of the Seven Clans of Vampires as she posses all the powers and instincts of a natural born leader. She is forever trapped in the body of an 18 year old girl as each vampire ages differently, but is actually one of the oldest vampires in existence, she is 1,854 years old. Throughout her years she has been in love many times, but has never found her true love due to her position in her vampire kingdom. Being a Commander puts a curse on those in which they fall in love with. You can't mark your significant other as yours by biting there neck and drinking their blood unless they're your true love, but to risk biting them is dangerous. A Commanders bite is lethal as their fangs are so sharp they cut very deep and takes longer to heal, so when they bite someone they may bleed out and die. Due to her past girlfriends dying, Rose has given up on love and emotions in general until Alice Farkas comes into her life, but will she love the girl even when she finds out what Alice truly is?
