Acic Cyruson is a homeless boy living on the streets. His father died in war, his mother was hit by a hovercraft, and he put his sister in an orphanage. He met Jaylin and they have been friends for years. He's had a crush on her for years, and they finally admitted their love for each other. But her brother is a soldier and found him. Now he will be drawn and recruited for war against the Salinnes, an alien race bent on destroying the planet Acic calls home. He fights his way up through the ranks and is captured by the enemy.
