She has to accept who she is and the ability she's given or watch the world burn. *********** The cafeteria was quiet now. I could feel eyes watching me but my anger was boiling over. The pounding in my head increased and I clenched my fist. This was all her fault. I was stuck down here and it was all her fault. I would never see my parents again and she was to blame for it. My eyes teared up and I clenched my fist harder, my nails were digging into my skin. My chest rose and fell as I panted. I tried to control my anger but I couldn't. The tables in the room started to shake, my soup bowl vibrated on my table, spilling soup on the floor. Margot jumped out of her seat. "Sally, calm down." She reached out to me in a placating manner. "I can't," I said through gritted teeth. "I don't know how to stop it." My stomach churned as I looked at everyone in the room. They were moving as far away as they could get. I felt it again. The sensation I always felt when I was out of my collar, the tingling in my skin, the warmth in my chest and then I knew I'd broken out of my collar again. Margot looked terrified as she froze in front of me. "S-Sally, your hands." ✓#1 of the Storm series

(This is book 3 of the P.O.E. Chronicles, Read book 1 Evolution and book 2 Selection if you haven't already) I never wanted a war. All I wanted to do was to get things back to the way they were and to keep those I love safe. But it turns out that everything was just an illusion, that the reality I lived in was all but a lie. That world was no place to live, and in order to make a better future, a future that so many have sacrificed so much to try and archive before me, I had to fight. And to do that I needed to find out the truth, no matter what horrors lie beneath it. The web of lies, of secrecy, of betrayal, is spun so far, so fine, so wide that I had been seeing only a corner of it. I didn't know if I have the strength to go on, but I know that if I don't step up, the world as we have known it will end. If you asked her four years ago what she imagined herself doing in the future, Abigail Beckett could safely tell you that it doesn't involve political meetings, living in an ancient castle and seeking advice from a three hundred years old Original. Having discovered her roots, she had inherited the responsibility to make sure the world doesn't end by the terrorist group Apocalypse and make peace among POE and Legres. With the fate of many of her friends still uncertain, she must race against time to uncover the Apocalypse's plan, pacify the government, and tried not to get killed by her grandmother. Spliced

37 parts Complete

Tattoos and piercings are so last century. Pacey Jones has wanted nothing more than to get spliced -animal parts fused on to her- ever since she saw her first kitten tale on a socialite. Too bad she's not old enough and her dad has a strict 'no splicing' policy. But when her best friend, Illena, finds a loophole in the age requirement, Pacey finds it hard to resist the appeal of a pair of wings. No matter how dangerous it could be. Rowen Mangold used to be a track star then splicing happened. Now he is the trophy boyfriend of the president of Students Against Splicing, and spends his Sundays at the church for the Order of Genetic Conservationists. Each time he sees a student with a new splice he cringes, but his reasons lie much deeper than anyone would suspect. A chance encounter with a pair of bull horns finds Pacey and Rowen working together in ways they never saw coming. It's the spliced versus the anti-spliced and the winner could lead to deadly consequences for both sides. (Note this book has not been professionally edited or formatted. I just wanted to get this out there to all of you to read instead of collecting dust on my computer)
