A Story of Optimistic Events(If Uncle Monty was still Alive)

So you know the original story by Lemony Snicket as well as the gruesome, terrifying and unfortunate ending at the end of the series. But, what do you think would happen if Uncle Monty from book two; The Reptile Room, survived the "snake bite?" Would the Baudelaire orphans finally bring Count Olaf to justice? Would they live happily with Uncle Monty for the rest of their days? Or would they find themselves in danger (once again) because after all the Baudelaire children were not only the most brilliant of children, but also the unluckiest.
