Just like most of us, Tiffany, Selena and Natalie thought they had their lives figured out. They knew their place, who they are and where they were going. And like most of us, life happened and turned all of that upside down and they soon realized they didn't know as much about their lives as they thought.
Tiffany, a woman who was raised by money and believing that a woman should never have to do anything for herself gives into her longing for independence and suddenly finds herself with two young children and no one to live her life for her anymore.
Selena grew up never knowing what it is to have loving parents. She learned at a young age how to be in control. Putting herself through law school, moving to a cozy little town where she could wake up every morning to the sound of the ocean and building her dream with her fiancé seemed like success. It seemed like she had it all figured out. But Selena learns that no matter how in control you feel, life can rip it out from under you just like that.
Natalie has never had money but she's always had love and a very special talent that turns on her when her family starts to fall apart and her no good boyfriend becomes the deadbeat father of their son, Natalie gives up her hope in love to a new way of life that seems like the perfect escape. She learns that running is never the answer.
