A story of a simple country girl who thought herself as simple and common as one couldbe... until she learns the truth of who her real parents are-the King and Queen of England- and how dangerous it is to be the secret hidden daughter of royals. Marguerite was part of a treachourous intricate plan from the minute she was born a girl. Born to Anne Boleyn and Henry VIII, her being a boy was of upmost importance. But, alas, she was born a girl, therefore unwanted. Switched from birth; a commoner's baby boy secretly replaced her and she was tossed to the this commoner family, a rather dangerous plan executed by the ambitous Howards. She knew nothing of her real family and royal blood until now. This orginal, creative tale tells the tale of what if: what if Anne boleyn had given birth to a girl, but she was replaced by a boy? What if there was no downfall nor death of this infamous Anne? And what of this secret daughter of hers? An entertaining historical fiction of treachery, danger, love, adventure, ambition, and much more, this is the (entirely made up) story of Marguerite Claude Tudor.

Joan

"I don't like to think of myself as this kickass, badass Lara Croft, no. But I try not to be your typical every day Jane Doe. So I where does that leave me? In the middle, I guess. So there. I'm just your atypical- yet completely ordinary- girl with a bloody crown. Yeah, that has a nice ring to it." At 14 years of age, Joan Domshov thinks she has it all figured out- well, mostly that is. Though her ducks may not always be in a line, she's pretty confident that if she's made it 14 years then she can make it 14 more without the world caving in on her. Oh how one can dream. Exposed to a new world with which she shares a closer tie than she knew, Joan realizes there's more beyond anything she's used to. But change is good. Unless it comes in the form of an eerily charming yet minatory king from the other side of Edalirwen. When her brother is taken by the king who seems to have a personal vendetta against her family's namesake, Joan will travel to the other side of a world that is rumored to be folklore. Regardless, Joan is certain she can prevail. But as her confidence is shaken and her perception about who she truly is starts to diminish, she'll be left questioning the person she once thought she was. Smartmouthed, snarky, and clueless to her obstacles, Joan will figure out whether she is a girl with a tainted past or something else entirely.
