Katalina Small is no different from a typical nerd; she's made fun of, she got no friends, has trouble with communicating with others. She's been a loner mostly all her life, her only friend is her little brother.  
Everything changes in her normal boring life when one of the bad boys decide to risk their life her, and now, she owes him. 

Maxwell Montez  has problems; he can't control his anger, he is always blunt about everything, and can't actually be someone that you want to be friends with...if you're a normal person. He only had three best friends; Fabian, Samuel and Jona.
