"This isn't going to be an easy case, Miles." 

I nod my head at Finn and speak in a strong tone,

"I realize that, sir. But I'm ready."

He looks down at me and I think for a split second a small smirk appeared on the corner of his scarred lips.

He clears his throat,

"I know. Otherwise, I wouldn't have assigned you to her."

I nod my head once again as I look over her files.

"I suggest that you do everything in your power to keep Farris alive. Although I think you should be watching your back...If anything were to happen to her, you're forever banned from the AGA. Am I clear?"

I nod my head, thinking all I've been doing is nodding. I'm feeling more like a kid being lectured by a bossy parent.

He looks at me approvingly before making his way to the door.

"Wait, sir. What do you mean I should watch my back?" 

He hesitates with his hand on the door,

"She's dangerous." 

I look down at her picture and into those seemingly lifeless eyes, 

"Well so am I."
