Damon feeds her his blood to prevent her dying in the sacrifice, much to Stefan's displeasure. Stefan tries to work a deal with Klaus to save Ellie's life. Klaus agreed to the deal to have Stefan work for him. John asked Bonnie to cast a spell on him. The next morning, John succumbs and dies.
