Sarah has so much doubt about everything. She fidgets too much, she can't keep track of anything and she has really bad anxiety. She's been like this for as long as she can remember; she was diagnosed with ADHD when she was 15. It also doesn't help that her parents died in an accident when they were on their to way pick her up from school one afternoon when she was 17.
Nothing was going right and the loss of her parents forced her to get a job because money was tight besides- she was nearly 18 in several of months. Also she did not want to trouble her Aunt Bee for extra money that she could earn herself.
She moved near the sea in Brighton and after weeks of searching she was lucky enough to find a local café called, "Poppy Café." She was so grateful at first but of course, nothing lasts forever and her luck went down the drain. Her boss Cali who presented herself as amiable the first week, later physically abused her nearly everyday for months on end. The months became years and now Sarah is 21.
She starts to feel hopeless and the small amount of hope she has is starting to dissipate. The doubt was wearing the shred of hope away. One day however, a pair of hazel green eyes meet hers and the hope she was losing was slowly coming back. Veen was slowly taking the doubt away.

TW: this book may contain mentions of violence and of suicide. DISCLAIMER #1: I wrote this story when I was a teen and while some mental disorders are the focal point, they may not be accurate representations as I was far from being a psychologist. There are several things Lynn doesn't quite get about the world she lives in, which makes it harder for her to figure herself out. She is not your average teenager. She's young, intelligent, though something about her is off by now. Everyone is quick to misjudge and point fingers, everything and everyone is so corrupted that she's afraid she'll lose herself among a bunch of wandering, empty souls. Therapy can only help so much, depression is hard to die, and in Lynn's case it's caused solely by the fact she doesn't 'fit in'. She can't really find her place in the world. But there's something really special about her; Her dreams are haunted by a wonderful, mystical place. No one understands her, they think she's off her rocker, that she needs to cut her childish daydreams. But Lynn knows deep in her heart that place really exists, and she'll do anything to find it, with the help of some new found friends. There's only one thing she must do: Keep an open mind, it brings open hearts and open eyes. -- DISCLAIMER #2 This fanfiction is inspired to Mind Over Matter by Pvris and their lyrics in general. All you read here is fiction. every reference to real events or people is purely coincidental. I do not own the songs featured in the book. My body needing him. Sophia Carrington. She just moved from New York to California in search of a new life. When her life took a dark turn she's forced to leave everything behind. Her brows furrowed. "You look like you have something specific you wanna ask me." The tips of Liam's ears turned red at Emma's very accurate observation. "I, uh... I usually just bullshit my way through projects, so I have no idea what the hell I'm doing." The corners of Emma's lips formed a small smile. Liam arched his brow. "What are you smiling at?" Her smile widened. "Nothing." Ever since Emma started going to Silver Creek High, she's been bullied over her discolored eyes. It all started when a boy brought attention to her in biology class one day, laughing at her and calling her a "freak" while the rest of the class laughed along with him. She never looked at him or saw his face; she just ran out of the room crying. She was now an outcast labeled as a freak and she wanted nothing more than to just disappear. She felt she had no purpose in life. Until her sophomore year when she fell in love with Liam, the guy every girl wanted; the guy every dude wanted to be. He had stolen her heart and she now wanted nothing more than to be with him. Unfortunately, Liam seemed to want nothing to do with Emma. He seemed to be straight up avoiding her. They never interacted for 3 whole years. That is, until now in their senior year, when they get paired up for a school project. The two must put their differences aside and try to work as a team. But as they spend more time together, feelings grow deeper, and secrets start to rise to the surface. Warning: Contains mature language, sex, and topics of bullying, sexual assault/harassment, self-harm, and suicide
