Dawn Augustin moves back to her hometown of Verina, Oregon after seven years to learn that something dark has unfolded in the once quiet, peaceful town. Just outside its borders, beyond the vast forested surroundings, confined and isolated within, lies a city deserted in ruins. Known as "Death City," the townspeople are said to enter the forest, drawn to it, and are never seen again.

As Dawn attempts to live normally as a high school student while navigating this frightening new reality, she meets a mysterious and handsome young man by the name of Rain. She soon begins to fall in love with this charming boy, but is shocked to discover that he lives in Death City. Despite falling deeply in love with Rain, Dawn is determined to uncover the secrets he is keeping from her.

In the midst of the ongoing disappearances and her own personal struggles, Dawn joins a school club to free herself from these strange events. Unbeknownst to Dawn, this club is no ordinary one and it just may be directly related to the mystery surrounding Rain and Death City...

The secrets of what she was- of who who she was. Her mother's warnings always loud in her mind, propelling her to care about nothing but survival. And to keep moving was to survive. Until one day she has no where left to run and everything she has been fleeing from swallows her whole. She finds herself held in a cell alongside humans, made to fight or die as if their lives have no worth. Unable to run, she is forced to face 'them' head on for she will never bow to the beings who never belonged on Earth to begin with. Copyrighted 2020 **Book 1 in the Darkness Series!** **Completed!** *Under construction* There was a creature locked away miles beneath the stone streets of Deshua, Oregon. A monster with the body of a man, jet black eyes of a soulless demon, and even darker feather wings cascading from its back. Those foolish enough to believe its unnatural, ethereal beauty would call it a fallen angel. The immortals who inhabited the town knew better. They knew to call it daemonium-demon. Forced asleep by a council who believed in the greater good, many revered the monster. Yet the town's eternal population was torn in two. Half awaited the day for the foretold cursed soul to come and resurrect their lord and the other half feared it just as much. And guess who got to be that lucky bitch. *No love triangle* -&- **WARNING** This book WILL have mature, adult content! Please be aware of this before reading.
