Ice Cold

The wind is ripping across any open area, snow covers anything that isn't in cover. It's been three months since the geomagnetic storm occurred, it shut down everything that used electricity. The storm caused a shift in the atmosphere causing the temperatures to drop below zero, causing the death of people and wildlife. The dropping temperatures also caused the world's crops to die causing famine to spread like a wild fire, and now without electricity running water is not commonly found. The human population being decimated, three billion died within just a few weeks. Chaos ensued very shortly after causing the governments of the world to begin collecting firearms to help lower the crime rates until a virus hit, finally finishing off the population leaving very few survivors.

The few remaining people of Earth resorted to murder, looting, kidnapping, and rape. But have also resorted to a more primitive way of living and fighting. The wildlife are now at the top of the food chain, wolves, bears, foxes, elk, and snow hares now inhabit the many forests and ruins of civilization. Though both the wildlife and remaining humans all have the same goal in common. Survival.
