"After you're done with everything here on this island. Would you like to maybe- join our crew? For real this time." His eyes light up with hope. "I don't think I'll make it before you leave-" You look away, not bearing to face his piercing stare anymore. "I can wait-" he interrupts, letting go of your hand as quickly as he took it. "I mean uhh... me and the crew... we can wait for you," he stutters out. "This place seems pretty cool. I wouldn't mind staying here for a few more days." "We'll see," you softly chuckle in an attempt to hide your blank eyes. "I mean, who else is supposed to save you when you're halfway beaten to death?" I was falling, falling to my death. The wind, taking my breath as I yelled to my friends for help. "Anha! Risa! H-Help me, please, help me!" They stood looking down on me from the top of the cliff . Their faces changing from normal to bloodied and mangled and back again. They laughed at me. "It should have been you who fell Kyamyi." They said, their faces staying mangled this time. "You did this to us, so now were giving you what you deserve." I squeezed my eyes shut waiting for the inevitable impact with the bottom of the cliff. But what I hit was not the cold stone of the cliff, It was soft, warm dirt. When I opened my eyes I did not see the dark claustrophobic walls of the cliff, but green forest all around. When I lifted my head I could see what looked like a fire in the distance, but I wouldn't find out if it was fire or not, because I woke up.
