"Why me?!" I asked.

"Because I actually like you," he said.

"You could have any girl at this school, why did you choose me?" I asked.

"You're not flinging yourself at me, and fighting for me attention," he said simply.

"But I'm a nerd and you're popular, we weren't even supposed to be friends," I said. Our cliques didn't mix.

"Don't let your school's social status and your label define who you are, because you're more than that," he said.

We sat in silence as I took everything in. This was all too cliché. He could be playing a prank on me. I doubt that, he wasn't that kind of person. He was different, unlike a lot of guys at my school. I wanted to say yes the other night, but I was with Jay. I don't know what to do or what's happening. This is too confusing.
