In the heart of a Spanish city carved from stone, a suppressed rebellion is forming, threatening to show its colours. Long held from practicing their religion or culture, the Moriscos, Muslims forcefully converted to Catholicism, steep the pain and anger for their suffering, and it's not only their deceptively small community of Galera. Whispers of a second rebellion are turning in the air, and the King is preparing himself. Judur, a stonecarver apprentice, uncomfortable with the rising resentment, fears for her people the same bloody fate the first, unsuccessful, rebellion gave. When the rebellion rises, and her people systematically slaughtered, Judur sees it's much, much worse than she imagined.
Now on the run, Judur journeys across Spain, passing by Granada and slipping in and out of Cordoba. Unsure of where to go and with no family, Judur decides Al-Maghrib is her only haven. As she treks, the stonecarver's apprentice meets, befriends, and assists those ranging from beggary to royalty, and slowly weaves her way through the intricate maze of the Castilian Crown.
*Description is, as always subject to change. This is an extremely rough idea in my head (as excited as I am to venture into it) so it's going to be a slow process.*

This story contains scenes where the main character refers to a past where she was forced to be a sex worker. ZAYYAD Synopsis: The companions of the prophet Muhammad peace be upon him shared the deen of Allah all over the world. Their followers also followed in their footsteps. Sageer Al'amin brought Islam to a place in the vast Arabian desert peninsula. The citizens, being engrossed in deep polytheism and evil monarchy rejected the message of Allah. Al'amin was treated badly but luckily with the light of Islam, some people converted to Muslims and surrounded him with aid. The deen of Allah spread slowly which made the king angry. They started mistreating the Muslims which led to conflicts and small-scale wars. In the process, Al'amin was killed. The Muslims fought their way out and in a few years established their cities, despite the Kafir's interference. Their power grew as more Muslims were born. The peninsula was divided into three; the kafir empire: Shams, the Muslim Emirates: Noor Al-Islam, and the Gold Empire. After his mother was abandoned by his father because she chose to convert to Islam, Zayyad grew up with his mother in Amatran. The Shams empire was trying its best to eradicate the Muslim cities, so the Muslims built up their armies too. Being a hot-blooded youth, who was determined to join the jihad and also find his father, Zayyad joined the recruitment of the Noor army. He found himself in a training ground where they were taught how to fight and more about their deen. Zayyad trained and joined the war, being entangled with many known and unknown vices. Their aim; make the deen of Allah prosper.

A chivalry, courageous and honourable type, conveying courtly love and national unity. I had only found out about this poetry book very late but coincidentally it complimented the story brilliantly, so I have featured it in this piece. I decided to name this book after all five novels, calling this the 6th Arthurian Romances, as it is also set in that time. Essentially, it is about love between two different classes. As you know they took King's bloodlines very seriously as well as the hierarchy in the 12th century. But what if this king, like the Knight of Lion and the Knight of Cart, followed their hearts rather than society?
